"SnakeHips'n'LizardLips" - the review
SnakeHips’n’LizardLips is Ma9Na’s tribute to the man, Michael Hutchence and to the group of very fine musicians that were INXS, done the Ma9Na way. Ma9Na was a drummer playing in Australian during the 80’s and 90’s and crossed paths with the band and many others that have influenced not only his career but also later in life with his song writing. Ma9Na plays 90 per cent of the instruments, recorded, mixed and produced his second composition.
A concentrate of heavy rhythms, evocative vocals and distorted sounds. A song with a full-bodied general sound, thanks also to a voice that gives volume and grit, making listening intense and well enhanced by instruments typical of that Alternative sound with the addition of further simple details that amplify the sound, making it deep, and thus creating the right dynamic. The style of Ma9Na gives a sound impact of remarkable workmanship, a track full of pure energy
