The Story:
This heartfelt and deeply personal project has been a lifetime in the making.
Within this song, I've poured my emotions, fears, guilt, and profound sadness stemming from the unexpected wave of depression that engulfed me as I witnessed my little sister's courageous battle with cancer coming to an end.
It's not a pop song; instead, it encapsulates the discomfort and monotony that characterized those last 36 hours we spent together. It is my story, outside the rules of songwriting, but it takes you on my journey from sadness to madness to here!
We had already lost her twin brother 35 years ago. The song's artwork depicts them as youthful angels alongside an Owl, which holds great spiritual significance to me. This visual symbolizes my sincere desire to protect them, a role I wish I had fulfilled. As a young teenager, I left home and missed out on witnessing their growth and being by their side.
The song's title comes from a conversation Debbs and I recorded during her two-year battle. She asked, "I suppose you are wondering what my favorite color is.
It's Blue, Blue, Blue."
"I never knew your color was Blue, Never knew
You never knew what my color was too, Did you?" - Ma9Na
I want to make sure I remember this: "This version is a stand-alone cinematic orchestral arrangement, a collaboration between Harvey Summers and me. I stumbled upon the idea when I turned off the rock instruments in the final mix. I then envisioned a different orchestrated version that could stand on its own, with its own unique story. I wanted this version to have its own existence in the universe, like a "Fraternal Twin," which seemed poetically perfect.

Intro Spoken (my prayer)
All my Dreams are ripped at the Seams.
Fall to the ground like Heroes and Clowns
A pocket full of nothing
empty rooms full of Lies
shadows hide in the Darkness
here is where Truth Dies
Damon
Just close your eyes
We say our goodbyes
No Tears left to Cry
And I don’t know Why
He’s by your side
Waiting to
Im Here
Take away your Pain No feeling
Wash away the stains It’s raining
Wipe away your tears I’m crying
Facing all your fears Still hiding
No memories to share I was missing
Secrets to your God I can’t believe him
Dusk
See your last Sky
Rainbows Blue, Like Cold Fire
Can they Heal, Crying Clouds
Shivered thoughts, whispered Breeze
Me
The Storms in my Head
Silent Rage, Ice cold threats
Left to grow Old
Last page turns with Regret
One face it Pretends
Two face fears to Defend
Our Blankets of Dreams, Die Alone,
alone, alone
Sleep, the Last Sleep tonight
Peace, you will be All right
Our Mother
Mother, always there
Cradles journey to the grave
Nothing prepares, distant stares. Body bare
Every little Dream, every little Squeeze
Hand that holds, you never grow Old
Hoping that, a Miracle arrives
Hoping that, my Angel will Survive.
Never let go,
never let go
Me
No, it’s not time
One more Dance
One more time
Take me with You
I am so Tired
Can’t see in the Dark
I’m Falling Apart
Damon reprise
Just close your eyes
We say our goodbyes
No Tears left to Cry
And I don’t know Why
He’s by your side
Waiting to Fly you Away
Solo Piano
Me
I’m so Sorry
Blue Blue Blue Blue
I’m so Sorry
Blue Blue Blue Blue
I’m so Sorry
Blue Blue Blue Blue
I’m so Sorry
Blue Blue Blue Blue Blue
Sleep, the Last Sleep tonight
Breath, as you take your last breath.
Mother, Father, Brothers, Sisters, your Daughter,
your Twin Heart
Are here.
The Story
I never knew your colour was Blue
Never knew
You never knew what my colour was too,
Did you?
Through your Eyes I See
Picasso Blue
Bright Blue Rainbows for Me
Blue blue blue
Blue blue blue blue
