- He was born in 1958 in a small town called Winton, New Zealand. While on a plane trip at the age of 17, he randomly met the midwife that delivered him.
- He was a fast runner at primary school, which was mainly because he was a small build and on the rugby field the bigger players scared the crap out of him.
- On a road trip to play a gig, Peter and his mate, Paul both got diarrhea. They finally arrived at the venue and there was only one toilet. Peter was the faster sprinter and got there first!
- His band was invited to play for a group of bikers. No other bands turned up so they played for two days, with only 35 songs. There were some long guitar and drum solos.
- Peter sat on stage with Pope John Paul 2. He worked for the company that supported the Pope's visit to Tasmania.
